Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Mould Operator / Inspector to join our manufacturing team in Harlow. In this role, you will be responsible for operating moulding equipment and conducting thorough inspections to ensure the production of high-quality products.

  • Set up, operate, and monitor moulding machines to prepare equipment for the shopfloor
  • Perform regular quality checks and inspections on mould equipment
  • Use precision measurement tools to verify product specifications
  • Identify and report any defects or deviations from quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of production and inspection activities
  • Clean and maintain moulding equipment and work area
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

This position is a days position working Monday - Friday though the Plant operates 365 days per year, 24 hours a day.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in mould operation or inspection
  • Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments
  • Proficiency in mould operation and inspection techniques
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards
  • Experience using precision measurement tools
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus on repetitive tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles (preferred)
