Job Description
The Business Coordinator reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Business Coordinator plays a key role in supporting business operations. This position ensures the accuracy and efficiency of tasks and contributes to smooth workflows across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the organization of business platforms for perioperative services (e.g., ServiceNow, PeopleSoft, and EMR) for tracking and processing operational tasks.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation for requisitions and project submissions.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide status updates on projects and processes.
- Ensure adherence to organizational standards and procedures, maintaining operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in business administration, office support, or a related role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database management.
- Ability to communicate effectively across departments.
Preferred:
- College degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with requisition systems like ServiceNow, PPM, and PeopleSoft.
