Job Description

The Program Manager of Throughput reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides throughput and capacity optimization guidance, leadership, support and coaching to the organization.
  • Leads key throughput and capacity optimization processes, such as Real-Time Demand Capacity (RTDC) and the Procedural Platform Planning Process (Quad P)
  • Owner of throughput analysis and reporting, monitoring performance regularly to provide reports to operational leaders.
  • Collaborates on efforts to deploy useful throughput dashboards for operational leaders.
  • Supports LFH operational managers and directors in throughput improvement efforts. 

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in operations/management.
  • Patient throughput-related project and team management experience.
  • Proven leadership, facilitation and change management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and direct the activities of others.
  • Proven analytical skills in the areas database manipulations and statistical analysis.
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Flexible/adaptable ability to work with diverse group of healthcare professionals in a matrix environment.
  • Effective problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proven software competencies (Excel, Power Point).

Preferred:

  • Master's degree (e.g. MBA, MHA, MEM).
  • Familiarity with Epic (Electronic Health Record).
