Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HCM Program Lead for an enterprise-wide implementation of Workday HRIS at Nine. This high-impact role will transform our People & Culture systems, processes, and employee experience.
As the business owner of the HRIS, you will partner with both business and technology teams, overseeing the project lifecycle from planning to go-live, ensuring successful adoption and optimisation of the new platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire Workday HRIS implementation, including scope, budget, and timeline management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives, deliverables, and project scope.
- Build and lead a cross-functional project team, including internal resources and external vendors.
- Manage risks, resolve escalations, and ensure the program meets its business case, staying within budget while realising intended benefits.
- Oversee system configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday Core HCM and Talent Optimisation modules.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and seamless system integration with payroll, finance, and other key departments.
- Collaborate with internal technology teams and external partners to ensure end-to-end process integration.
- Partner with internal and third-party change management teams to drive user adoption and minimise disruption.
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies tailored to organisational needs.
- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the HRIS and related People & Culture systems (e.g., LMS, performance management tools).
- Monitor system performance, identifying opportunities for innovation and optimisation.
- Stay current with HR technology trends and best practices, ensuring the platform remains future-ready.
- Evaluate and implement new People & Culture technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should be a results-driven leader with a passion for delivering exceptional business outcomes. You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and possess outstanding communication, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills. Adaptability to diverse working styles across the business is essential.
- 8+ years of experience in HR digital transformation, with a strong track record in leading large-scale Workday or other HCM implementations.
- Proven experience as a business system owner with expertise in product management methodologies.
- Deep understanding of HR processes, best practices, and modern HR technology landscapes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating project risks.
