Job Description

The Pricing team is a specialist division within the Sales Operations Team, responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximise revenue potentials. The team provides timely and insightful data to key stakeholders within the company to assist in making trading decisions within the competitive television marketplace.

As a member of the Pricing team you will be responsible for the maintenance & analysis of critical pricing reports which inform pricing strategies. Your role will also include a number of day to day functions in support of the Pricing Manager.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the Pricing Manager to maintain pricing modelling tools.
  • Provide regular feedback and recommendations on Network pricing.
  • Monitor and provide regular reporting on audience trends to align with and adapt pricing strategies.
  • Provide regular reporting on changes in pricing strategy to key stakeholders within the business. 
  • Generate rate cards for distribution to internal and external customers.
  • Take ownership of and maintain the Sports and Special event pricing database.
  • Ad-hoc reporting assistance as required
  • Other tasks as reasonably required

Qualifications

  • Attention to detail, strong Excel and numeracy skills will be fundamental requirements within this role
  • Ability to work and adapt to tight deadlines
  • Ideally 1-2 years Media experience (specifically Regional) 
  • SQL and/or Python experience – highly regarded
