  • Compensation: EUR 70000 - EUR 85000 - yearly

Company Description

We are seeking an experienced and outcome-oriented Senior Product Manager to lead the Trade Dimensions product line – the retail store and business establishment reference data that forms the foundation of NIQ’s Store Intelligence portfolio. As the Senior Product Manager for Trade Dimensions, you will translate customer and business needs into a clear product roadmap and prioritized requirements for Trade Dimensions, contributing to the overall Store Intelligence strategy; partner closely with engineering, data science, operations, commercial, and market teams; and deliver trusted, scalable data products that help clients understand where retail activity takes place. This role requires strong product judgment, cross-functional influence, and a practical understanding of retail reference data, data quality, analytics, technology frameworks, and modern product development practices.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Vision:

  • Contribute to the Store Intelligence product vision and strategy set by the Product Director and own the vision and strategy for the Trade Dimensions product line, aligned with company goals, customer needs, market trends, and NIQ’s broader retail intelligence portfolio.

  • Ensure Trade Dimensions delivers relevant, differentiated value to manufacturers, retailers, distributors, commercial real estate users, financial services clients, digital platforms, agentic commerce providers, and other customers that depend on accurate retail location data, and serves as a reliable foundation for NIQ’s Store Intelligence analytical products.

  • Define and communicate the Trade Dimensions roadmap, aligned with the overall Store Intelligence roadmap and balancing market expansion, data coverage, quality, platform modernization, client commitments, and commercial growth.

Cross-Functional Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead cross-functional product squads through influence, partnering with data scientists, engineers, designers, operations, and commercial teams to create a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

  • Provide product leadership, coaching, and subject-matter guidance to colleagues and delivery partners, while contributing to the continuous improvement of product management practices.

Market Analysis and Customer Engagement:

  • Analyze retail, location intelligence, and competitive data markets to identify client needs, portfolio gaps, growth opportunities, and emerging use cases.

  • Engage with customers, market teams, sales, and delivery stakeholders to understand how Trade Dimensions data is used, gather feedback, and convert insights into product improvements and new offerings.

Product Development and Lifecycle Management:

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle for assigned Trade Dimensions products and capabilities, from discovery and business case through data sourcing, requirements, delivery, launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization.

  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog; define clear requirements and acceptance criteria for coverage, taxonomy, attributes, quality, refresh cycles, and delivery; and partner with engineering and operations to deliver reliable capabilities on time.

AI and Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Use AI, automation, data, and analytics to improve retail entity discovery, classification, matching, enrichment, quality monitoring, and product decision-making.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators such as market and channel coverage, completeness, accuracy, freshness, delivery reliability, adoption, revenue, and customer satisfaction.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicate product priorities, trade-offs, plans, risks, and results clearly to internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and external partners.

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, market teams, and client delivery to shape packaging and positioning, support go-to-market plans and enable successful launches and adoption of Trade Dimensions offerings.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex data, analytics, reference data, or platform products.

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Demonstrated experience with retail location, store reference, or business establishment data, including sourcing, taxonomies, hierarchies, metadata, harmonization, quality, refresh processes, and client delivery use cases.

  • Product Leadership: Proven ability to lead through influence, align diverse stakeholders, manage trade-offs, and guide cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of data products, APIs, analytics, entity resolution, geospatial data, AI and data science (including Gen AI for entity discovery and enrichment), software development processes, and relevant NIQ platforms and operational workflows.
