Job Description

As an HR Employee Experience Specialist (m/f/d), you will be the first point of contact for your  assigned business unit on all operational HR matters, from employment contract creation to reference letter preparation, making an important contribution to effective HR management at GfK & NIQ. As part of a dedicated and international team, you will promote a positive employee experience and support the efficient execution of our HR processes. You can expect a dynamic and challenging role with a wide range of interfaces across an international environment

Missions

  • Serve as a knowledgeable contact person for operational HR processes and employee-related matters such as working hours, vacation, maternity leave, parental leave, etc., for employees and managers.
  • Proactively and professionally resolve HR support-related issues and support HR Business Partners in their day-to-day activities.
  • Maintain employee master data and personnel records, and prepare employment contracts, contract amendments, certificates, and other HR-related documentation.
  • Handle general administrative tasks related to hiring, transfers, promotions, and employee terminations.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate execution of all HR-related processes and associated administrative requirements.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HR processes within the HRIS Workday and contribute to HR projects.
  • ·Act as the interface to the internal Payroll Team for your assigned responsibilities.
  • ·Collaborate closely and effectively with HR Business Partners and Payroll Partners. ·
  • Support leave and absence management and respond to employee inquiries.
  •  Drive the optimization of existing HR processes and tools. In this role, you will report to the HR Employee Experience Cluster Lead DACH, Iberia & Italy.

You bring the following professional qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in operational HR, ideally within an international service-oriented organization
  • Good knowledge of labor law and an understanding of works council co-determination rights; basic knowledge of payroll tax and social security regulations is desirable
  • Initial experience working with works councils, as well as basic knowledge of German Works Constitution Act (Betriebsverfassungsrecht), is an advantage
  • Open and engaging personality with strong analytical skills, quick comprehension, and a high level of customer/service orientation
  • Strong team player with a proactive, structured, and reliable approach to work
  • Flexibility, commitment, and excellent organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of Workday is an advantage
  • Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken, as well as good English language skills are required.
