About this Job
Together, we enable businesses to understand consumers and make better decisions. NielsenIQ is a leading global consumer intelligence company delivering the most complete understanding of consumer buying behavior and revealing new pathways to growth. By combining advanced analytics with comprehensive consumer purchase data, NielsenIQ helps manufacturers and retailers innovate, optimize performance, and succeed in highly competitive markets.
Within this global environment, Procurement plays a critical role in enabling NIQ’s research operations, technology platforms, and professional services. The function partners closely with business and operational leaders to ensure access to the right capabilities, suppliers, and solutions while maintaining strong governance, risk management, and cost discipline. As NielsenIQ continues to scale its global operations and strengthen its operating model, the Procurement organization is focused on delivering strategic sourcing, supplier management, and value creation across key spend categories, supporting both operational excellence and long-term business growth.
The Procurement Analyst for Travel, Expenses and Events (TE&E) supports sourcing and category operations across Travel (e.g., air, hotels, transportation, TMC, and expense platforms) and Events (e.g., sponsorships, agencies, venues, and execution), providing analytical support, managing spend data, and coordinating suppliers to ensure cost efficiency, reliable service delivery, and measurable value. Responsibilities include data collection, supplier research, and basic benchmarking to inform sourcing decisions. Working with Finance and Marketing teams, the role aligns operational needs with sourcing strategies, helping control costs and maintain service continuity. Within a global procurement framework, the Analyst ensures consistent governance, leverages digital tools for efficiency, and incorporates ESG and supplier diversity considerations into sourcing activities.

- Assist sourcing activities (documents, supplier data, market insights): Contribute to sourcing processes by preparing documents, gathering supplier information, and compiling relevant data. Ensure materials are well-structured to support competitive and informed sourcing decisions.
- Gather and organize market intelligence across travel and events suppliers: Research and maintain insights on key suppliers such as TMCs, airlines, hotels, car rental providers, and event agencies. Structure this information to support supplier evaluation, benchmarking, and category strategies.
- Contribute to cost savings, improved terms, and reliable service delivery: Support negotiations and supplier engagement activities by providing data and analysis that help identify savings opportunities, optimize contract conditions, and enhance service quality.
- Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and service standardization: Analyze supplier landscape to highlight opportunities for reducing fragmentation, improving consistency, and increasing efficiency through consolidation and standardized service models.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Finance to align sourcing with business needs: Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand operational priorities and translate them into procurement actions that support cost control, service continuity, and business goals.
- Support governance by coordinating with procurement leads and escalating risks: Work closely with senior procurement stakeholders, following established processes and ensuring compliance with policies. Proactively identify and escalate risks or issues when needed.
- Assist supplier selection, evaluation, and contract administration processes: Support end-to-end sourcing cycles, including supplier evaluation, scoring, and onboarding. Assist with contract documentation and ensure alignment with procurement standards and governance requirements.
- Support supplier performance tracking, contract compliance, and process efficiency: Maintain performance records, assist in supplier reviews, and monitor adherence to service levels and contractual terms.
