About The Role
The Marketing Lead for the UKI & West Europe Power markets in NielsenIQ would be responsible for shaping and driving the regional marketing strategy across the cluster, elevating NIQ’s brand, accelerating demand generation, and enabling commercial performance in high-priority markets. This role holds end-to-end accountability for developing unified regional marketing plans, overseeing execution across multiple markets, and ensuring alignment with NIQ’s global and European commercial priorities.
This position requires a senior strategic marketer with deep leadership capability, the ability to influence at executive levels, and demonstrable experience guiding multi-market teams within a complex global matrix.
Your Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Regional Ownership
· Define and lead the integrated marketing strategy for the UKI & broader West Europe cluster, ensuring consistency with European and global commercial priorities.
· Serve as the strategic marketing partner to Commercial Leaders across the region, advising on market needs, portfolio positioning, and growth opportunities.
· Own annual planning, target-setting, prioritisation of investments, and performance management across markets.
People Leadership & Market Oversight
· Lead and develop a regional marketing team, including Senior/Marketing Managers in priority markets (UKI, France, Germany, Italy, Spain).
· Provide strategic coaching, capability building, and performance management to ensure high-quality, scalable execution across markets.
· Facilitate cross-market alignment and collaboration, eliminating duplication and strengthening shared learning.
Regional Demand Generation & Revenue Impact
· Architect and oversee execution of multi-market demand generation programmes, accelerating pipeline creation and supporting revenue ambitions for the region.
· Ensure campaigns are insight-driven, locally relevant, and measurable across markets, with a clear line of sight to MQL, SQL, conversion, win-rate and ROI metrics.
· Partner with sales, product, and customer success leaders to ensure tight integration across the funnel.
Brand Leadership & Market Positioning
· Elevate NIQ’s brand in the UK and West Europe through consistent, high-quality messaging, brand governance, and market-specific activations.
· Lead the creation and adaptation of regional content and assets, ensuring alignment with global brand guidelines while meeting local commercial needs.
· Position NIQ as a thought leader through storytelling, category leadership, and strategic communication initiatives.
Cross-Functional Influence & Executive Stakeholder Management
· Act as a key member of the West Europe leadership team, influencing strategy, go-to-market priorities, and customer engagement approaches.
· Collaborate closely with global brand, insights, product marketing, analytics, and communications teams to ensure integrated delivery.
· Translate market intelligence and competitive insights into strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
Performance Management & Insights-Led Optimisation
· Own measurement and reporting of campaign and funnel performance across West Europe Power Markets markets.
· Lead quarterly and annual reviews, ensuring data-driven optimisation and transparent communication of regional marketing impact.
· Introduce and scale best practices, tools, and marketing technologies to improve efficiency and performance.
About You
· Significant experience in senior marketing leadership roles with accountability for multiple markets, ideally within a B2B, technology, data, or insights-driven organisation.
· Proven expertise in integrated marketing, demand generation, and brand leadership.
· Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence executive stakeholders, and operate within a complex matrix.
· Strong analytical capability and experience using insights, data, and metrics to drive decision-making.
· Ability to navigate ambiguity, set direction, and drive strategic clarity in fast-moving environments.
· Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into compelling narratives.
Your Qualifications
· Experience leading international marketing teams or multi-country clusters.
· Degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant field.
· Fluency in a major West European language (French, German, Italian, Spanish) is a plus.
