Job Description

NielsenIQ is seeking a Full Stack BI Engineer (Mid Level) to join our global Business Intelligence and Data Management team.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building end‑to‑end BI solutions—from data capture using Power Apps, to transforming data in Azure, and delivering insights via Power BI.

You’ll work closely with a highly skilled, international team (Europe + LATAM) and contribute to global BI initiatives used across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Build and optimize Power Apps (Canvas Apps) for internal data collection and workflows.
  • Develop robust data models, DAX measures, and Power Query M transformations in Power BI.
  • Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, and work with Azure Synapse.
  • Collaborate closely within Agile frameworks (sprints, scrum) to deliver high‑quality solutions.
  • Support and enhance existing BI products, ensuring high performance and strong user experience.
  • Conduct peer code reviews to maintain technical quality and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects reported by BI solution users.
  • Continuously expand technical skills to ensure efficient and scalable solution development.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in BI, Data, or Microsoft‑based development roles.
  • Professional experience with:
    • Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query M)
    • SQL / T‑SQL and SQL Server
    • Power Apps (Canvas Apps)
    • Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse
  • Understanding of Data Lakes and Data Warehouse design.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
  • English level: B2 or higher.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work methodically in structured processes.

  • Experience with or strong interest in:
    • Power Automate
    • Microsoft Fabric
    • Azure Portal
    • Dataverse, Dynamics, SharePoint
    • Snowflake
  • Experience building full‑stack solutions within Microsoft ecosystems.
  • Prior experience in BI, analytics, or technology consulting environments.

  • 100% Remote
  • You may live anywhere in Colombia, but employment will be registered under Bogotá.
