Business Analyst

Company Description

This position is a Business Analyst role, focused on understanding business needs, working closely with stakeholders, and translating requirements into clear, structured documentation to support software and service development.


This is not a Financial Analyst or Data Analyst role. While analytical thinking is important, the emphasis is on business engagement, requirements gathering, process understanding, and communication, rather than financial modelling, reporting, or advanced data analysis.

The Business Analyst will act as a bridge between business and technology teams, helping define solutions that meet user needs and align with product and business roadmap

 

Job Description

· Complete analysis of data, and processes, to support compelling business cases 

· Analyse business requirements to understand needs and translate these into prioritized requirements

· Work with stakeholders from business and technology to research and define solutions to business problems

· Create, review, and maintain process documentation

· Conduct gap analysis on proposed business/system changes

· Support throughout the project life cycle

· Work with Solutions/Systems Architects, Product Leaders, and other key stakeholders to ensure that technical solutions align with architectural, business, and commercial roadmaps

· Create and submit Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)

· Host/facilitate group workshops and presentation of requirements findings, solutions, and suggestions

Qualifications

· Must be able to work with multilevel stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements

· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets in delivery

· Strong oral and written communication skills including problem-solving, prioritizing, and interpersonal relationship building

· Ability to recognize problems and investigate effective solutions

· Knowledge/experience in Agile systems development lifecycle an advantage

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work independently with little supervision and direct the work of others

· Fluent English
