Job Description

As part of the Global Payroll Centre of Excellence, The Junior Payroll Analyst will support the accurate and timely processing of payroll for multiple countries within the EMEA region. This role involves validating employee data, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and assisting with payroll reconciliations and reporting. The position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-country environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in end-to-end payroll processing for EMEA countries in compliance with local statutory requirements.
- Validate and maintain employee data in HR and payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Workday).
- Perform pre-payroll checks, reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with PAYE, National Insurance, and HMRC Real-Time Information (RTI) submissions.
- Calculate and administer statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP).
- Manage pension auto-enrolment and liaise with providers.
- Thorough understanding of statutory payments: SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP and HMRC submissions
- Respond to employee payroll queries promptly and professionally.
- Assist in payroll audits and provide documentation as required.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors for smooth payroll operations.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of payroll data at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-5 years of payroll operational experience in UK and Ireland is mandatory.
- Must have working experience in SAP and Workday payroll systems.
- Experience across other Western European countries will be an added advantage
- Attention to detail, professional awareness, and sense of urgency for employee questions; be able to spot errors or exceptions quickly.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator.
