Job Description
Has a solid foundation in statistics and data science, with proven technical depth.
Independently leads portions of complex analytics projects or fully leads less complex ones.
Contributes to methodology design and interpretation of results, showing strong problem-solving ability, and the communication skills to translate complex outputs into actionable insights.
Leads analytical workstreams within larger projects, such as pricing, forecasting, segmentation, marketing mix modelling, using tools like R, Python, and others with minimal supervision.
Present findings to researchers and internal teams in a structured and engaging format.
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of NIQ’s analytics processes, proprietary products, clients, and service model.
Provides informal guidance to junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.
Operates with a moderate level of direction, managing workload and timelines independently while proactively seeking feedback and opportunities to improve analysis quality.
Qualifications
• Requires solid knowledge of conceptual and functional knowledge and procedures within own job discipline and a basic understanding of these elements in related job disciplines•
Applies understanding of business drivers and how own team integrates with others to accomplish own work• No supervisory responsibility; may provide informal guidance to new team members•
Solves problems considering common practice or procedures; determines appropriate action by analyzing possible solutions and their impact on the function/business using practical experience, judgment and precedents
• Impacts quality and effectiveness of own team and may impact other closely related work teams whose activities are interdependent
• Explains factual, sometimes complex and potentially dynamic information to others
