Senior Security Analyst - AI - Cybersecurity Controls focusing on AI/ML systems.

Reporting to the AI Security Advisor, the AI Security Analyst focus on the effectiveness of controls that are implemented to mitigate the risks agains AI/ML systems. This role blends cybersecurity expertise with a strong understanding of AI development lifecycles and AI related regulations. The analyst will work cross-functionally with engineering and data science teams to embed security into every phase of AI solution development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the effective implementation of the security controls on AI/ML systems, end to end.
  • Conduct AI-specific threat modeling (e.g., MAESTRO) and risk assessments across AI assets.
  • Identify and provide solutions to mitigate risks such as model inversion, data poisoning, prompt injection, and adversarial attacks.
  • Implement and maintain AI security testing tools and integrate with MLOPS pipelines.
  • Provide guidance and training to engineering and data science teams on secure AI development practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cybersecurity controls, ideally with a focus on AI/ML systems.
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML development workflows, including MLOps, model lifecycle, and data governance.
  • Familiarity with AI-specific threats and mitigations (e.g., OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, adversarial ML).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native AI platforms (Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI).
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, OSCP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
