Software Engineer-Frontend

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Frontend Software Developer with strong expertise in Angular (v14+) to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in building responsive and scalable web applications using modern web technologies and frameworks. A solid understanding of frontend architecture, UX collaboration, and Agile development processes is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using Angular (v14 and above).
  • Write clean, efficient, and modular code in TypeScript and JavaScript.
  • Create semantic and cross-browser compatible HTML structures.
  • Implement responsive and maintainable CSS/SCSS for visually appealing UIs.
  • Integrate frontend components with backend APIs, model schemas, and handle structured payloads effectively.
  • Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and QA to ensure seamless end-to-end development.
  • Develop and maintain unit tests using Karma and Jasmine, ensuring high test coverage and code reliability.
  • Use GitHub for version control, pull requests, and collaborative workflows.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives using JIRA.
  • Interpret Figma designs, collaborating closely with UX designers to ensure consistent and user-focused interfaces.

Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 3–6+ years of frontend development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Angular (v14 or newer) with a deep understanding of core concepts.
  • Expert in TypeScript and JavaScript ES6+.
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS for responsive and maintainable design.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with structured data formats like JSON.
  • Proficient in writing unit tests with Karma and Jasmine.
  • Comfortable with Git-based workflows, including branching, merging, and pull request practices.
  • Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum environments and tools like JIRA.
  • Ability to understand and translate UX/UI designs from Figma into functional frontend components.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js).
  • Experience with Backend for Frontend (BFF) and Micro Frontends (MFE) architecture.
  • Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps (PWA) concepts and development.
  • Exposure to end-to-end testing/automation using tools like Playwright.
