Manager, Cybersecurity, Pune

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Manager, Cybersecurity to lead and support various cybersecurity engineering initiatives, with a particular focus on data security. This role will involve building, implementing, optimizing, and managing critical security solutions to protect the company’s data, systems, and networks. The ideal candidate will drive the development and execution of cybersecurity policies and best practices while mentoring a team of engineers. Additionally, this role will support employees within the overall cybersecurity department in his location, even if they are not direct reports. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of data security solutions, including but not limited to DLP, CASB, Database Security, and DSPM. 
  • Oversee the security of data used in AI applications, ensuring robust protection measures are in place. 
  • Build, configure, and maintain cybersecurity tools across multiple domains, ensuring optimal performance and security. 
  • Collaborate with Enterprise IT to ensure security systems are integrated effectively to monitor for threats and vulnerabilities across the organization. 
  • Develop, maintain, and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and metrics to track the health and effectiveness of cybersecurity operations. 
  • Mentor, guide, and manage a team of cybersecurity engineers, fostering growth and professional development. 
  • Support cross-functional stakeholders, including Program teams, Product Leaders, and Senior Technology Leaders, to align cybersecurity strategies with business objectives. 
  • Support dashboards, reports, and alerts for real-time monitoring and reporting of cybersecurity metrics. 
  • Proactively monitor and manage the health and wellness of cybersecurity solutions, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. 
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years out which 7+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3-5 years of management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical field; equivalent work experience may be considered. 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, able to collaborate across teams and influence key stakeholders. 
  • Experience managing and mentoring engineering teams, fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. 
  • Familiarity with Cloud IaaS/PaaS environments, with a preference for experience with Azure. 
  • Experience in securing data for AI applications is a plus. 
  • Strong understanding and experience supporting teams with responsibilities across multiple cybersecurity domains within a cyber engineering department.
