About the Job

Responsible for executing and delivering all revenue related processes and tasks for the assigned markets/clusters, including sales order and contract validation, billing, revenue recognition and accounting. Maintain compliance with global standards. This position reports to the Billing & Revenue Team Leader/Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Revenue Assurance and Billing & Revenue Leader to support their deliverables
  • Prepare, initiate in a timely manner the following activities as per Global & Regional agenda: 
    • Validate accuracy of orders received in SAP from CRM, based on company internal process & policy
    • Partner with Order Management team to ensure orders received in SAP are compliant with USGAAP and NIQ policies
    • Process Customer invoicing & Invoice Cancellation/Credit Note creation
    • Process Revenue recognition 
    • Preparation of Billing and Revenue related reports
    • Responsible for performing billing/revenue controls.
  • Review accruals, provisions, write offs
  • Generation of month end reports on Unbilled balances, Deferred balances following the US-GAAP/Stat rules and global processes
  • Raise any detected issues that are not consistent with NIQ policies and US GAAP rules
  • Support the markets during audits (CAS, statutory, VAT, etc.) and collection of documentation for audit purposes 
  • Be the first point of contact within the Billing and Revenue Associates actively resolving day to day queries.

Qualifications

  • 4 years+ of experience within finance
  • Understanding of the Revenue processes and accounting (Order Management, CRM, Billing, Collection and Cash Application).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
  • MANDATORY: Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
  • Excellent team player
  • Good communication Skills
  • Self-Starter, creative and with good autonomy
  • Working experience in multinational, multicultural environment
  • Experience working with remote counterparts
