Job Description

Can be a remote role! Some travel each year. 

The Packaging vertical within Nielsen IQ is looking for an enthusiastic, organized professional, with a customer centric attitude, and a passion for data, to join our growing team as a Client Engagement Manager, reporting into the Global Packaging Leader. We are looking for a client-focused, excellent communicator, with a strong data-driven solution background and an in-depth knowledge of the CPG industry.  This role will support the team carrying out various administrative tasks needed to build and maintain great client relationships while providing outstanding customer service.

This vertical has set the industry narrative for clients across the packaging industry.  You will be expected to provide day-to-day ownership for the provision of services to the global packaging client base. The role will consist of supporting the coordination of our data delivery, key industry insights around sustainability, eCommerce, and other packaging trends, in addition to other regular reporting outputs. 

  • Support the Packaging Team with specific client deliveries and development of the vertical through collaboration, meaningful insights, value add presentations, and other administrative duties
  • Lead subject matter expertise for NielsenIQ’s solutions relevant to the Packaging vertical
  • Showcase NIQ’s value proposition through the development of use cases & industry thought leadership highlighting the value of NIQ’s portfolio of products
  • Ability to weave client-specific insights, industry material and thought leadership information into client conversations to build context and clarity to the outcomes our solutions can deliver
  • Build meaningful relationships with internal stakeholders working in a fast-paced environment working collaboratively with product sales leads, cross-functional partners, and product leadership on new & creative applications for the data 
  • Perform regular reporting tasks and communication with clients to ensure timely, quality delivery
  • Manage client relationships ensuring clear and concise communications
  • Support the project-based output of the team including desk research, sample reporting, etc.
  • Support sales generation amongst our customer-facing service teams consistent with NielsenIQ’s Packaging vertical growth strategy

Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of work experience preferably in a relevant industry (FMCG, consulting, account management)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent awareness of market conditions and client business environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (specifically Excel)
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data and discover actionable insights
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to produce quality work while demonstrating attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize while managing workload and meeting deadlines quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid office situation
  • An effective team player that enjoys working as part of a creative and energetic team
  • Initiative and ability to “make things happen” and be accountable
  • Familiarity with NielsenIQ tools, applications, and platforms (a plus)
