Job Description
The Global Procurement Organization within NielsenIQ is responsible for overseeing the purchasing and management of all NIQ company cars including benefit and tool cars.
As part of this Organization and within the Global Procurement Operations team, you will define and operationalize the Fleet category and vendors globally at Nielsen IQ.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing our global and local fleet vendor relationships, identifying, and executing on optimization opportunities, reviewing new and amended contracts, handling incoming requests from business stakeholders in order to fulfill business needs whilst guaranteeing most favorable terms for NielsenIQ. Manage all aspects of fleet globally for Nielsen IQ, provide a strategy and assurance that employee benefit cars are procured according to company policy, and manage fleet vendor relationships.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the NIQ fleet from acquisition to disposal
- Arrange lease vehicle ordering and deliveries
- Arrange purchased vehicle ordering and deliveries
- Register and license all vehicles
- Develop strategies for maximizing savings and cutting costs where available, optimizing processes when needed
- Manage Fuel card program
- Maintain full list of all fleet vehicles
- Manage reporting of fleet vehicle details including global emissions
- Be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of fleet requests, meeting the established SLAs and KPIs to maintain internal customer satisfaction
- Successfully manage multiple projects through cross-functional collaboration and a disciplined approach to project management that enables consistent implementation
- Liaise with the other teams on Global Procurement (Sourcing, Analytics, Strategic Vendor Management, Program Management and Transformation), running global projects together and sharing best practices
- Develop deep category expertise for Fleet, including a detailed knowledge of the vendor base and project-specific agreements
- Manage Fleet supplier contracts
- Run Business reviews with Fleet providers, understand agreements in place to make sure Nielsen IQ drivers perform the established responsibilities as well as the vendor
- Lead internal customers through the fleet processes. Supporting users’ communication, education and training
- Responsible for managing benefits and perks in the best interest of Nielsen IQ. Avoid any conflicts of interest when performing the role and comply with NielsenIQ Code of Conduct and policies
- Track contracts, and always able to report on status of on-going contracts per region/country
- Operational and tactical user support
- Be aware of policies and processes and be able to explain the rules and guidelines to internal customers
- Foster and maintain strong relationships internally and externally with the different stakeholders
- Support Procurement strategies for the fleet category by optimizing vendors, tendering, and managing contracts
- Work with Junior Fleet Manager in LATAM to coordinate Fleet management activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
- 5-years+ experience in Procurement with focus on Fleet Management
- Language: English required. Spanish and other European languages are a plus
- Good communication skills, analytic, accountable and problem solver, customer service centered
- Self-motivated, extremely proactive, able to work both independently and with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify high quality solutions
- Ability to work with functional groups and different levels of employees throughout the organization to effectively and professionally achieve results
- Ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment
