Job Description

The Specialty Operations team is looking for an Image Procurement Specialist. The Image Procurement team works to capture visual assets that will be used in NIQ’s industry leading market research initiatives. An ideal Image Procurement Specialist's will be focused, self-driven, and demonstrate the ability to be just as comfortable working in a team environment as they are working on a project by themselves. When necessary, Image Procurement specialists consult with internal and external teams on custom needs, troubleshoot issues and help develop standard processes.

Job Purpose

  • Find image material for market research purposes
  • Ensure image material for field work is error free and meets all technical requirements
  • Coordinate image editing when needed
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with external and inter-departmental NIQ team members
  • Maintain metrics that track project search results
  • Ensure external suppliers execute projects as required
  • Resolve issues raised by internal customers.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling image procurement projects
  • Procuring images utilizing online databases
  • Reviewing and correcting automated image search tool outputs
  • Coordinating with external suppliers when needed (prepare material for external suppliers, check results)
  • Coordinating with internal teams on image needs
  • Coordinating image delivery to internal clients and troubleshooting issues related to delivery
  • Documenting and updating metrics that are yielded from project search results
  • Primary ownership for all image procurement activities.
