Job Description

The Associate Client Manager will contribute to their client's satisfaction and engagement through insightful recommendations leveraging multiple complex data sets with an advanced technical proficiency to proactively solve strategic business issues. The ACM's role will include assisting clients with navigating through complex business challenges by providing insightful and actionable recommendations, contributing to overall client satisfaction and engagement, and developing your knowledge of your client's strategic business needs.  

Your success in this role will be driven by four key areas. First, accurately diagnosing and decomposing your client's business issues and successfully providing recommendations and insights will demonstrate your thought leadership and analytical aptitude. Second, you will demonstrate leadership of your client stakeholders by building strong relationships. Third understand their strategic goals and actions to deliver on those goals. Fourth, you will demonstrate knowledge of NIQ's tools, data assets, and programs.  

All client facing associates are part of the commercial and revenue management process. This includes, but is not limited to, identifying opportunities from client meetings and communications, socializing them to the right client leads, and supporting them so we can act on those opportunities.  We are always listening to our clients, assessing how we can help, and driving value add through expanding our engagements and services.

  • Develop a richer understanding of NIQ’s business

  • Build internal stakeholder relationships 
  • Learn our client's business processes and practices  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required 
  • Ideally 2 to 3 years experience in related industries which include: FMCG or CPG, Retail, Consulting or Analytics 
  • Ability to translate data into stories
  • Strong analytical aptitude, naturally curious, and lifelong learner. Experience with syndicated data is a plus 
  • Experience utilizing multiple and complex data sets through problem-solving and proven project management skills 
  • Experience in client service environment ad ability to develop, maintain and grow client relationships 
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in complex situations 
  • Skillfully communicate and work collaboratively with internal & external teams 
  • Strong sense of autonomy, urgency, and accountability to delight clients 
  • Retail or Manufacturing background a plus (Retail Merchandising, Category Management, Operations, etc.) 
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office software
