Job title: Director - Organizational Effectiveness (M&A integration)
Position Summary
As the Director of Organizational Effectiveness, you will play a crucial role in our HR Integration Team, responsible for driving the successful integration of NIQ & GfK organizations.
Your primary focus will be bringing to life our new business units' organizational structures by establishing the right operating models, defining ways of working and further optimizing the organizational structure and reporting relationships aligned with our organizational principles. You will work cross-functionally and in close partnership with the HR Business Partners, the Business Leaders, and their teams. This role is designed to lead and execute the integration process efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all changes that result from the org integration translate effectively into streamlined business processes and workflows, clearly defined job roles and responsibilities, team charters, clearly articulated governance & decision-rights and overall efficient & effective ways of working
Design, organize and facilitate large scale team effectiveness workshops and senior leadership meetings aimed at aligning and mobilizing the organization to achieve its objectives (I.e., define operating model, accelerate culture integration, drive goal alignment, improve collaboration, develop an operating rhythm)
Organizational design and structure: Optimize the organizational structure by removing shadow organizations, using data to define and execute changes to overall team size, implement spans & layers control, finalize reporting structure of combined org.
Organizational effectiveness tracking: Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor the ongoing health of the organization and track the status of the integration efforts. Build reporting and analytics to drive improvements and sustain changes.
Help leaders create org clarity to ensure changes are not a distraction. This will require developing and activating change management plans
Qualifications
The successful candidate is a strategic, analytical, adaptable, collaborative, and effective communicator who can inspire and motivate teams to achieve organizational goals.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in leading HR transformation projects, preferably at a director level or equivalent
Strong understanding of organizational design, change management and HR-related processes and principles.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Analytical mindset and ability to leverage data to drive decisions and measure integration success
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines
Strategic thinking – ability to develop and communicate a clear vision for the organization, identify and prioritize key initiatives that will move the organization towards its goals.
