Senior Executive, Retail Intelligence
About the job
Retail Client Success, Senior Executive is a commercially minded individual that will manage a selection of retail client relationships across West Africa clients. The role will require the individual to deliver on the commercial agreements in place with our retail clients. The role requires both the ability to plan and execute on a clear strategy around four key pillars, including sourcing of retail data, servicing of retail clients, and sales. The individual will be required to manage the day-to-day relationship with key client stakeholders , and be comfortable in presenting data to a senior audience. Also, it will be important to manage internal stakeholders to deliver on key projects within the unit, as well as develop a sales pipeline to build and maintain client revenue.
Responsibilities
- Proactively deliver on contractual reporting obligations, and drive the use of NielsenIQ data into the retail client business.
- Accountable for maintaining and reinforcing our relationship with key stakeholders within retail clients with the development of a solid key stakeholder plan.
- Drive servicing efficiencies through planning and execution of client engagement model in order to attain acceptable client (NPS) satisfaction scores.
- Using NielsenIQ technology and/or data to entangle our business within the client’s day-to-day operations.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand Retailer clients data quality coming into the NielsenIQ Factory.
- Reach decided upon revenue and proposal targets through development of healthy sales pipeline.
- Use insight to present data that deliver tangible value to the client.
- Contribute to FMCG thought leadership and internal knowledge sharing for the business through the identification of emerging trends, problems, and opportunities.
- Work with your manager in setting objectives and KPIs, performance reviews, feedback, and career mentoring.
- Understanding and execution on financial administration including invoicing, counter invoicing/cash collection.
About you
You’ve dabbled in research and analytics. You have the communication chops to translate it all into conversation or presentations. While you may have worked with global cross-functional teams, you can also put your head down and focus on independent projects. Seeing the big picture takes attention to details. You know what’s happening in big data and you’re ready to influence what’s next.
Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in a FMCG analytics environment, carrying out data analytics.
- Ability to translate analytics into key insights for senior client stakeholders.
- Recent experience with client management/servicing with commercial acumen in order to deal with key day-to-day stakeholders.
- Ability to proactively understand clients and identify opportunities for building strategic partnerships, and/or projects for other business units within NielsenIQ.
