About this job:

NIQ’s At-Home Neuro Panel is dynamic and growing both internationally and domestically! With over 350+ remote panelists completing client studies daily in our US panel, there is a lot of equipment that needs troubleshooting, shipping, tracking, and ordering. The role of the Equipment Manager is to test, troubleshoot, monitor shipping, and refill all necessary equipment pieces for the Neuro@Home Panel, Chicago Lab, and international pop-up labs. They are to attend and participate in meetings pertaining to equipment status and production so that stakeholders have visibility for timelines/milestones as well as client expectations. The Equipment Manager is a detail-oriented, self-motivated, problem solver who is excited to get started in helping make the equipment shipping, monitoring, and troubleshooting process to the next level. 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring our ticketing system to record refill requests from Panelists and/or replace faulty equipment
  • Prepare equipment kits for shipping to newly recruited panelists or international pop-up labs
  • Verify panelists’ addresses for shipments
  • Check components of prepared kits and finalize kit in our database
  • Familiar with (or willing to learn) FedEx navigation
    • Create labels for shipments
    • Able to complete international shipments using various customs requirements per country’s requests
  • Monitoring inventory and ordering consumables
    • Track frequency of panelist’s ordering to see if there can be additional training to be done to prevent overuse of items
    • Work with Chicago and international teams to ensure they have the items they need as well
  • Coordinate and track return of kits due to offboarding or faulty kits from panelists
    • Working with FedEx support if something is misplaced
    • Work with Panel Engagement Lead to contact a panelist if there are delays or issues with delivery, as well as following up about kit recovery
  • Testing/Retesting of equipment
    • Work with Engineering/Support Team to troubleshoot issues and identify any items that might need replacing
      • Willing to troubleshoot and test equipment up to a full day
    • Test new equipment from vendors to ensure all parts of working as they are expected
    • Troubleshoot returned equipment that is reported faulty

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Completed or in process of)
  • Previous experience in the logistics industry or in an administrative role with an emphasis on managing shipping/receiving of equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Familiarity with imaging a computer or willing to follow steps to image a computer as part of the equipment preparation
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Able to coordinate the monitoring and coordination of incoming and outgoing packages and/or items
  • Must be meticulous and organized
  • Self-motivated and multi-tasks with minimal supervision
  • Works well with stakeholders and other teams that are involved in panel management and international fielding
  • Excellent communication skills

The salary range for this position is $26.00/hour - $36.00/hour.
