About this job

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for implementing, maintaining, executing, and monitoring human resources daily operational matters that best support operations and technology business units. The individual will be responsible for performance management, including recruitment and staffing; employee standards and practices; all HR-related administrative duties, and total rewards. The successful candidate should have solid HR business partnering experience across the region. 

Responsibilities 

  • Acts as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the business unit  
  • Proactively supports the delivery of HR practices and processes on the client’s side   
  • Manages complex and difficult HR Projects cross-functionally   
  • Led employee communication initiatives that translate corporate values into the local context and enhance employee commitment  
  • Build a culture that inculcates a greater Indonesia team to achieve and exceed the commitments  
  • Accountable for providing comprehensive human resources programs to support the Company’s major initiatives  
  • Participate in disciplinary procedures review to ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies and procedures. Counsel and coach employees and managers/supervisors on corrective action.  
  • As an employee advocate, ensure employees’ needs, concerns, questions, and/or complaints are addressed and balanced with the needs of the business.  
  • Builds a strong business relationship with the internal client  
  • Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implements changes necessary to cover risks  
  • Closely works with the TA team to recruit personally the key talents for the internal client  
  • Facilitates the management team to bring the best solutions for employees  
  • Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management   
  • Designs and maintain organization vitality charts as the performance of the business unit improves  
  • Design succession plans for key talents and key job positions  
  • Challenges the organizational structure of the internal client and proposes changes  
  • Acts as a member of the HR Management team and closely with HR colleagues, both in the country and regionally 
  • Establish a conducive relationship with Labor Union; and be familiar with Indonesia Labor Laws and Regulations

A little bit about you 

Report directly to the Executive Director and work closely with the management teams in leading and managing the people management-related agenda at the assigned internal clients. Lead the change management projects and manage HR-related internal and external communication. Identify and prepare development plans for key employees and high-potential employees.  Identify employees ready for promotion and rotates the best talents across different functions in the organization.   Act as a member of the management team of the internal client; actively supports discussions, and transfers best practices from different functions in the organization. The position takes over the leadership in the people management area and acts as the facilitator for the management team. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Organization Development, Human Resource Management, Organization Behavior and Psychology, Compensation Management, or relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Organization and Human Performance Development, Strategic Human Resources Management, Organization/ Process Improvement, Strategic Compensation Management, and/or Learning & Development in consumer or any related business  
  • Knowledge of Indonesia Labor Laws and Regulations is a must
  • A generalist with Human Resources, strategic  compensation management, organization capability, strategic talent acquisition and recruitment, and learning & development skills  
  • Strong business acumen with hands-on experience and team player mindset  
  • Good communication skills, negotiation skills, project management, and change management skills  
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills  
  • Strong time management and priorities management skills  
  • Excellent command of English, both oral and written
