Job Description
About the role
The quality assurance role will work closely with operations project management teams on identifying & reconciling field quality issues and driving continuous improvement, making sure Nielsen IQ’s data is reliable & trusted. The ideal candidate should be proficient in various quality tools as well as solid data analysis skills and have excellent problem-solving skills including root cause analysis & process improvement.
Responsibilities
As an Independent Quality Control Executive you will be responsible for the following:
- Implement quality assurance procedures in accordance with data collection methodology
- Ensure investigation is appropriately conducted considering robust analysis, documentation of root causes, and identifying potential risks to fieldwork quality
- Ensure timely communication to the field team or vendor on any quality issues found
- Ensure appropriate remediation is identified that will address the root cause and proactively prevent similar issues from occurring
- Use systems or tools to track data fluctuations and identify & address fieldwork issues through data analysis
Resource, Time & Cost Management
- Work closely with fieldwork team/vendors to ascertain their capacity and capability level
- Allocate QC resources (internal/external, subject to manager’s approval) according to availability and project schedule, ensuring audit quotas are met in a timely manner
- Manage and track the project budget allocated for IQC
- Document project IQC cost information for use in controlling expenditures
Vendor Quality Management
- Conduct fieldwork observation/accompaniment when required and address issues to help Vendor to implement corrective actions so they are consistent with Nielsen IQ’s quality standards
- Provide performance feedback to Vendors to improve their quality standards
- Encourage continuous improvement by providing Vendors with timely, constructive feedback and necessary support to ensure high-quality and timely delivery
- Organize KPI discussion and action planning meetings to provide feedback and recognition to vendor partners on their project execution
Quality & Risk Management
- Conduct fieldwork observation/accompaniment when required and address issues to help the field team to implement corrective actions so they are consistent with Nielsen IQ’s quality standards
- Proactively identify and manage the resolution of risks and issues that may negatively impact a project deliverable
- Escalate project issues and risks as appropriate
Compliance
- Manage, maintain, and dispose of all project materials and documentation according to the company SOP manual
- Fully comply with data security and privacy policy to protect personal individual-level data as well as client provided name list
- Work with fieldwork team and external vendors/suppliers to assure the process adherence to company SOP as well as meeting country policies & regulations, including Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA)
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma from an accredited college or university
- Fresh graduate or candidate with 6 months/1-year experience in a market research agency preferred
- Willing to travel around Singapore to do field witnessing
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance
- Strong discipline, flexibility and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Highly organized and capable of working independently as well as operating as part of a team
- Adhere to work schedules and submit field reports within the operating schedule
- Ability to carry out any other duties reasonably asked of you
