RESEARCH ANALYST, ARC – MUMBAI
ABOUT THIS JOB
The Analytical Resource Center (ARC) is the analytical hub of NielsenIQ BASES and CI Business. From its base in Mumbai, India, ARC acts as a key support function by partnering with Client Consulting (CC) teams across offices around the world and delivering in-depth insights on existing and new FMCG product ideas for NielsenIQ BASES clients and consumer insights for NielsenIQ CI vertical.
Since we work for Global teams, we are looking out for people comfortable with all the three shifts mentioned 9AM – 6PM, 11AM- 8PM and 2PM – 11PM.
Job Summary - To assist with the execution of marketing research studies by compiling, analysing, and interpreting research data, including building presentations and writing client reports.
Role Description:
· Participate in creating research reports, including the production of data tables and charts
· Analysing and summarizing the data to answer client questions and provide meaningful recommendations.
· Review data for errors and inconsistencies
· Co-ordinate with multiple project members/ teams for issue solving, query solving, and keeping a track of project timelines
· Interact and partner with global client consulting teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects
· Work on Meta-analysis/databases or other Value Additions as required.
Typical Position Pre-requisites:
● Post-Graduate with a specialization in Marketing
● Comfortable with all shift timings (2PM - 11PM, 11AM - 8PM and 9AM - 6PM)
● Knowledge of MS Office
● Good understanding of Market Research
● Strong Analytical, Consultative and Customer Service skills
● Effective oral and written communication skills

Strong communication skills will help you present your findings to global teams and in a most effective way. The analytical bent of mind will guide to analyze different sets of data. Intellectual curiosity and persistence will help find solutions to most of the challenges. Ability to autonomously manage simultaneous projects in a fast paced business environment is the need of the hour.
QUALIFICATIONS
● Post Graduate/ Master’s degree/ MBA with Marketing majors
● Well versed with Excel and PowerPoint
§ Prior Experience and Knowledge on the below mentioned :
Ø Marketing and Market Research concepts
Ø Statistics, research techniques, and experimental procedures
Ø BASES services, tools and techniques (Preferable)
- Minimum 0-1 year of experience in Market Research. (BASES Experience preferred)
