Innovation matters. In Nielsen’s BASES Innovation Practice, you will be responsible for client consulting from start to finish of all BASES projects, specifically data analysis, writing reports forecasting, and client presentations.
Responsibilities
Insights
Design robust research solutions to answer clients’ business questions on innovations.
Liaise with other internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client deliverables.
Run various BASES tools and models to assess innovation on consumer adoption framework
Analyze and interpret data to discover consumer insights and provide high-quality client deliverables.
Present research findings and share recommendations to guide clients on their innovations’ journey prior to launch.
Be directly accountable for work conducted in terms of analyses, consults with clients regarding research designs and general study concerns.
Activation
Prepares inputs and run forecasting models
Review data for errors and inconsistencies
Understands and learns to analyze in-market data and other available Nielsen data to inform forecasts
Accountable for high-quality first draft of forecasts
Prepares initial client correspondence and forecast deliverables
Participates in client meetings and presentations
Develop a strong understanding of demand metrics (Factors for Success and volumetric key measures) and how they influence sales

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification of Bachelor’s Degree in fields such as, but not limited to:
Data Analysis
Maths
Psychology
Statistics
At least 3 Years work experience
Industry experience
FMCG
Manufacturing
Retailer
Market Research
Banking
Telecom
Other diverse industries (e.g. academia, consulting)
Technical skills
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Google Office & Products
Social Media
Language requirements
English
Knowledge of specific systems
Nielsen product knowledge beneficial:
All BASES tools and models
Answers/ connect express for Consumer Panel Services (CPS) and Retail Measurement Services (RMS)
