Job Description

  • Assist in creating and implementing recruiting strategies 
  • Search for potential candidates using hiring databases and social media  
  • Assess and screen applications and resumes 
  • Assist in creating job postings and posting them on ATS and other job boards 
  • Assist in building relationships with school partners and other key stakeholders in order to increase recruitment efforts 
  • Screen applicants before the interviewing process by conducting the initial phone screens 
  • Match applicants to job positions based on their skills and qualifications  
  • Schedule interviews with candidates  
  • Facilitate and lead virtual video interviews via Microsoft Teams  
  • Extend and follow up with employment offers to prospective candidates in an efficient timeframe 
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to successfully determine candidates that meet role expectations 
  • Submit weekly reports to Talent Acquistion Manager and Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer summarizing recruitment efforts  
  • Participate in virtual hiring events to screen and schedule candidates for opened positions 
  • Utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter to source candidates  
  • Work alongside the Talent Acquisition Manager and Chief Human Resources Officer on special projects 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and 2 years of recruiting experience; OR 5 years of recruitment experience and a high school diploma (or equivalent) 
  • Knowledge and understanding of recruiting and sourcing techniques 
  • Customer service and sales skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Experience using applicant tracking and recruitment marketing software 
  • Experience using Smart Recruiters preferred but not required 
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter  
  • Knowledgeable of employer branding techniques 
  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive 
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to tackle competing priorities 
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work well in a team environment 
  • Strong/demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Suite 
  • Experience in a professional environment is preferred 

 

This job requires an at-home office setup including working Wi-Fi and the ability to answer and receive calls in a quiet area.
