Job Description

New Relic is hiring smart, energetic Sales Development Representatives - Working closely with Account Executives and the Marketing Team, you will be prospecting to book meetings with decision makers at enterprise organizations across North America.

HOW WILL YOU SPEND YOUR DAY?

  • Your day will consist of making phone calls, sending emails and connecting through social media channels to companies within our target market in order to book meetings for Account Executives
  • Researching target customers via websites, Google alerts, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Working in alignment with the Account Executive and Marketing teams to create strategies and lists for prospecting
  • Tracking your activity in Salesforce.com
  • Finding creative ways of reaching busy executives

 

     

      Qualifications

      STILL READING? GOOD. WE’RE ALSO LOOKING FOR:

      • 2+ years of sales or customer service experience
      • Bachelors degree
      • The ability to influence others and build rapport quickly—especially over the phone
      • Mature and confident with strong interpersonal skills and a true team player
      • Excited to be part of a high growth start-up and passionate about new technology
      • The capability to grow and take on more responsibility—we’re looking for folks who want to grow into the next role
