We are currently looking for a Senior Social Media Expert for our offices in Brussels. 

Your main duties will be to:

• Implementing the client's social media strategy and action plan.
• Creating digital content for social media platforms with the focus on visual aspects of communication such as photos, visuals, infographics, GIFs and videos.
• Providing direction and purpose to client's social media activities.
• Daily management of social media presence.
• Monitoring and reporting on social media performance.
• Collaborating with colleagues within the unit (web, press or events & campaign).
• Managing requests for social media coverage coming from other Units, as well as other hierarchy and Cabinets.
• Managing social media content calendar and paid social media campaigns.

If you have:

• Solid knowledge/understanding of EU affairs and priority topics of ideally the European Institutions.
• At least 7 years of experience in managing social media accounts.
• Capacity to work under time constraints.
• Ability to research content and translate difficult policy language into understandable content for social media audiences.
• Excellent technical writing skills in English. French would be an asset.
