A day in the life of a 5G & LTE Access Network Engineer

As a 5G & LTE Access Network Engineer, you will be part of an engineering team on system-level design, providing architectural expertise and guidance. You will be responsible for providing design, operations support, and consulting services for a Service Provider in Greece, utilizing 4G LTE Fixed Wireless Access communication technologies emphasizing in RAN design & optimization.

Your main duties will be to: 

• Provide architectural expertise, guidance and support for Radio Network design 
• Troubleshoot, tune, optimize and maintain 5G & LTE access network
• Support subcontractors and clients throughout the deployment phase
• Conduct quality acceptance controls of radio designs and acceptance verifications
• Design, test, and implement services across the wireless access network
• Test and deploy new services
• Oversee operations of the wireless access network, including the creation and review of operational procedures and plans
• Provide regular status reporting
• Perform instructional sessions for knowledge transfer

• Degree in Computer Science or other relevant disciplines
• Solid experience in the field of 5G & LTE Radio Access Network
• RAN design experience
• Analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in an international/multicultural environment
• Excellent command of the English language (written & oral)
