Job Description

Nemera’s teams work on a variety of exciting drug delivery and medical products, and our engineers leverage technology to revolutionize them. If you have an inquisitive, technical mind that never stops thinking about how science could be applied to make things simpler, more robust and more functional, then we have just what you’ve been looking for.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively as a part of multi-disciplinary teams including engineers, industrial designers, researchers, interaction designers and prototyping experts
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary innovation sessions targeted at identifying possible development directions
  • Work with senior and principal engineers to investigate concept feasibility using a combination of analytical methods and iterative physical prototyping
  • Build and test prototypes to characterize performance
  • Translate the output of concept and prototyping efforts into fully realized, detailed designs that are ready for production
  • Present technical output and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • 0-5 years of professional experience in product development engineering design (consulting or contract experience a plus)
  • Familiarity with 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Desire to design, build, test, and troubleshoot physical prototypes
  • Attention to detail and ability to collaborate with other disciplines
  • Willingness to learn and seek out answers

PAY RANGE: $80,000 - $100,000 USD Salaried (This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.)
