Job Description
Calculation and payment of state and other scholarships, travel compensation and refund of guarantee contributions to students:
1) takes the necessary measures for the monthly calculation and payment of state and other scholarships;
2) provide compensation for travel expenses to students in winter and summer;
3) repayment of guarantee contributions to students in accordance with the corresponding repayment conditions;
ensures preparation of internal documents of the University on the return of unused state funds for scholarships and compensation for travel to the republican budget based on the results of the financial year;
5) monitors the payment of scholarships and travel compensation for students, as well as relevant funding from the authorized body in the field of education, including the need for funding if necessary;
6) conducts the analysis and preparation of a forecast for the payment of scholarships and travel compensation to students for the coming periods;
7) prepares applications for the payment of scholarships, travel compensation and refund of guaranteed fees;
8) ensures the preparation and issuance of income statements of students;
9) takes necessary actions to account for students in the accounting system within the competence of the Department;
10) prepares reporting and operational information on students' travel debts;
11) takes measures to collect receivables for travel and other debts of students and, if necessary, initiate claims against debtors;
12) ensures the development and updating of internal documents regulating the processes for student trips;
13) keeps records and stores documents, checks their condition and safety before transferring them to the storage of the archive of the University.
Qualifications
The knowledge required to perform the duties of:
1) Knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of economy, finance and education;
2) knowledge of the basic processes and methods in accounting, finance, economics and education;
3) Knowledge of information technologies in the field of management and accounting at the level of an advanced user;
4) knowledge of MS Office, ERP System 1C: Enterprise software products;
5) knowledge of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the status of Nazarbayev University", "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools", "Nazarbayev Foundation", legislative and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of higher education.
