Job Description

About the Role

Every conversation starts with someone who has already taken the first step.

They've attended an event, submitted an enquiry, downloaded information, or expressed an interest in studying. They're exploring their options and looking for guidance on what comes next.

As a National Course Advisor, you'll proactively connect with prospective students, helping them explore their study options and make informed decisions about their future. Working within a fast-paced contact centre environment, you'll engage with prospective students across multiple channels, build meaningful relationships, and provide accurate course and admissions guidance.

This role combines the satisfaction of helping people make important decisions with the accountability of working towards enrolment outcomes. Success comes from building rapport, asking thoughtful questions, actively listening, and consistently applying a proven student engagement process. You'll manage your own portfolio of prospective students, guiding them through the enrolment journey while delivering a high standard of service and contributing to enrolment targets.

While each National Course Advisor is responsible for managing their own pipeline and outcomes, success is built on teamwork. We operate within a collaborative environment where advisors actively support one another to ensure prospective students receive timely assistance and a consistently positive experience. When one team member is ahead, they help others move forward. When additional support is needed, the team steps in. We celebrate individual achievement, but we succeed together.

If you enjoy meaningful conversations, thrive in a structured environment, are motivated by achieving results, and value being part of a supportive high-performing team, this could be the role for you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Connect with prospective students who have already expressed an interest in studying, helping them explore opportunities and understand their options.
  • Manage and progress a portfolio of prospective students through regular outbound engagement and consistent follow-up.
  • Build trust through meaningful conversations that uncover individual goals, motivations, and circumstances.
  • Guide prospective students through course selection, admissions requirements, application processes, and future career pathways.
  • Apply established consultation and enrolment frameworks designed to deliver a consistent student experience and strong enrolment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation across CRM and enrolment systems.
  • Contribute to enrolment targets through effective pipeline management, quality conversations, and disciplined follow-up.
  • Collaborate with admissions, training, performance, and recruitment teams to support students from enquiry through to enrolment.
  • Participate in coaching, training, and continuous improvement activities that support both personal and team success.

What Success Looks Like

Successful National Course Advisors don't rely on pressure or sales tactics. They are curious, disciplined, and coachable. They build trust quickly, listen carefully, and consistently follow proven processes. They understand that strong outcomes come from meaningful conversations, effective follow-up, and doing the fundamentals well every day.

They take ownership of their performance while recognising that a great student experience is a shared responsibility. They contribute positively to team success, support their colleagues when needed, and are comfortable seeking support when they need it themselves. Above all, they trust the process, remain focused on the student, and understand that consistent execution delivers exceptional results.
