The teacher is responsible for the delivery of Foundation and Diploma Studies Programs, particularly within the Foundation Studies Program at La Trobe College Australia. This includes lecturing, providing academic support to students and supervision and marking of assignments and exams. 

The person we seek will ideally have the following: 

• Tertiary qualifications in education with methods in Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics
• Extensive experience teaching Foundation Studies or Year 12 / VCE
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Experience with a learning management system to assist and enhance the delivery of subject content. 
• Demonstrated understanding of and empathy for a multicultural environment. 
• A comprehensive understanding of pathway programs and their articulation with university courses. 
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and initiate change. 
• Demonstrated ability to work with changing priorities and meeting deadlines.
