Job Description
About the Role
Are you passionate about helping students around the world take the next step in their education journey? Join our C&I Division as an International Course Advisor, where you'll play a key role in supporting international student recruitment across Australia.
In this phone-based role, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective international students answering their questions, providing tailored course information, and guiding them through the admissions process. Your goal? To build trust, offer clarity, and support international students to enrol in the right course for their future.
You’ll work closely with the broader Student Recruitment and Admissions teams to ensure a seamless, student-first experience from enquiry through to enrolment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Connect with Future Students: Engage international student enquiries primarily over the phone, email, and web platforms to support their decision-making journey.
- Deliver Course Guidance: Provide accurate and relevant information on programs, entry requirements, visa implications, and support services.
- Pipeline Management: Manage a portfolio of prospective students using CRM tools, progressing leads through the enrolment funnel.
- Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure conversations and actions align with relevant international student regulations and admissions policies.
- Data and CRM Accuracy: Maintain timely and accurate records of all activity and correspondence using Salesforce and internal platforms.
- Collaboration: Work in partnership with International Admissions, Recruitment Managers, and on-campus support teams to achieve enrolment targets.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, student-centered environment and wants to make a real difference in the lives of international learners.
Qualifications
Who we are looking for:
We’re looking for someone enthusiastic, goal-oriented, and ready to be the friendly voice on the other end of the line for our international students.
You’ll bring:
- Sales or Customer Service Experience: Ideally in international education, outbound call centres, or high-volume enquiry handling.
- Strong Communication Skills: Confident phone manner with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
- CRM Know-How: Experience using Salesforce or similar platforms to track leads and student engagement.
- Cultural Sensitivity: An understanding of the international student journey, and the ability to support students from a diverse range of backgrounds.
- Resilience and Drive: A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
