    About the role

    Navitas is seeking a skilled and proactive HR Advisor to join our HR Australasia team. This role offers the opportunity to support HR Business Partners while managing a small client portfolio, delivering generalist HR advice, and driving initiatives that enhance performance, capability, and workplace culture.

    You’ll work closely with operational managers to implement HR strategies tailored to business needs, while ensuring alignment with broader organisational goals.

    Key responsibilities

    • Provide expert HR advice across staffing, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
    • Coach and support managers in applying HR policies, awards, and enterprise agreements.
    • Lead and contribute to HR projects, programs, and initiatives.
    • Assist with WHS matters in collaboration with the WHS Business Partner.

    Qualifications

    What we’re looking for

    Essential

    • Relevant HR or tertiary qualifications.
    • Proven experience in a generalist HR role.
    • Strong customer service and communication skills.
    • Experience in reporting, data analysis, and interpreting Collective Agreements, Awards.
    • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

    Desirable

    • Familiarity with the Australian employment relations landscape, including an understanding of Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreement, and relevant Fair Work legislation.
    • Experience managing or supporting industrial relations issues within a unionised or industrial environment.
