Job Description

Team presentation and main goal:

The event officer is the client's point of entry for setting up the event according to the specifications, from the definition of the concept to the confirmation.

He/she is in charge of the planning and the actions to be taken on the logistics of the event.

He/she must coordinate and follow up the implementation with the business experts and ensure the follow-up of the organization in collaboration with the event project managers.

Main tasks and goals:

  • Understand the requirements and details of each event;
  • Plan and organize events considering the constraints (meet up, seminars, meetings...);
  • Ensure that the services booked are adapted to the client's needs: Make suggestions for the success of the event;
  • If necessary, find suppliers and service providers and conduct negotiations;
  • Approve all the points with the project manager during the handing over of the file;
  • Analyze the client's feedback and suggest areas for improvement if necessary.

Qualifications

Preferred educational background or University/School: Logistics, Project Management, Marketing, Communication, other;

  • MS Office (advanced knowledge);
  • Planner (notions);
  • Fluent English and French (mandatory).

Availability to travel abroad occasionally, availability to work on public holidays.
