We're seeking an experienced Lead Lab Tech to join our team.  

1st Shift Hours:   Mondays-Fridays   6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Our Production Lab Techs perform a variety of duties, depending on their assigned department and lab needs. Techs help expedite job orders throughout the manufacturing process in a timely and efficient manner.  

A team Lead is knowledgeable of all department tasks and capable of assisting at any station and performing any function within the department as needed. 

The Lead Lab Tech's duties also include:   

• Leading associates by ensuring they stay on task and are in the proper place for optimal workflow
• Training new associates according to the Supervisor's instructions and helping the Supervisor monitor performance and department functions
• Ensuring orders are processed and routed correctly within the lab
• Printing orders, edit errors, research order failures, processes lens breakage
• Assisting Supervisor as needed with reports, monitoring workflow, key production metrics and department operation to efficiently process job orders
• Database work including DVI, specialized optical and inventory management systems 

• No specific education level required.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• REQUIRES A MINIMUM OF ONE (1) YEAR directly related work experience
• Prior experience in inventory management and software systems, stock, warehouse and manufacturing operations is necessary
• Optical experience desired
