Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage public sector and fixed-bid projects – at least 2 large and complex implementations in career.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in overseeing end-to-end project execution while fostering client relationships and ensuring successful delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead project planning, execution, and delivery aligned with best practices.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet fixed-bid and public sector objectives.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, developing and maintaining strong relationships.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication and task alignment.

Monitor project risks, issues, and changes, providing timely updates and mitigation strategies.

Conduct regular status meetings and deliver progress reports to stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and government regulations in public sector projects.

Drive continuous process improvement and innovation in project management practices.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of project management experience and fixed-bid projects.
  • No more than 16 years of IT experience Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, and resource allocations, especially in fixed-bid environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • PMP certification Understanding of public sector procurement processes.

Additional Information

  • Salary Range: $150K Gross - $160K Gross (includes base + bonuses), depending on skills and years of experience.
