Job Description
Requirements:
- 13+ years of experience in project management, with at least 6-7 years in a senior leadership role
- Prior experience in Retail, CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), and e-Commerce business domains
- Demonstrated experience managing and leading a team of approximately 60 to 70 resources effectively
- Proven ability to handle and oversee a project portfolio valued at approximately $10 to $15 million
- Strong background in project delivery, team building, and operational management, ideally with experience in setting up and running new office locations
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams, manage multiple stakeholders, and lead diverse groups toward common goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to act as a key point of contact for local issues and facilitate smooth functioning of the office
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to new challenges and opportunities
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously within the Retail, CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), and FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) domains, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery
- Oversee the launch and day-to-day management of projects from various locations, coordinating with global teams to meet business goals and client expectations
- Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans as needed while facilitating regular status meetings and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
- Partner with HR and leadership to hire top talent, building and mentoring a strong team of approximately 60 to 70 resources aligned with company values and performance standards
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment that encourages innovation, growth, and teamwork while serving as the key facilitator for teams operating out of new office locations
- Act as the go-to person for any operational or setup issues within the office, working closely with HR, IT, and facilities teams to resolve challenges quickly and ensure seamless establishment of the office
- Serve as a liaison between global teams to ensure alignment on project objectives, timelines, and priorities while providing regular updates to senior leadership on office setup, team performance, and project progress
- Possess a proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges in an evolving business environment, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for growth and improvement
- Continuously improve processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity within the office while managing a portfolio of approximately $10 to $15 million
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
