Job Description

  • Develop and execute the regional sales strategy to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives in Belgium, Luxemburg and Netherland
  • Identify, approach, and acquire new customers through proactive business development activities, especially in the sectors Pharma, Minerals, Cosmetic, Chemistry, Food, Battery / New Energy
  • Manage and further develop relationships with existing customers
  • Conduct customer visits, technical and commercial presentations, and contract negotiations
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, commercial proposals, and sales agreements
  • Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Aftersales Service, and Application Engineering teams to support customer needs
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and customer records within the CRM system
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, industry conferences, and customer events
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through regular communication and professional account management
  • Provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations to management regarding business opportunities and competitive developments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering (e.g., Materials Science, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering), or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of successful B2B sales experience in technical products requiring consultative selling and technical explanation
  • Solid understanding of industrial manufacturing and production processes across various industries
  • Strong customer focus combined with a structured, proactive, and results-oriented approach to work
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills in a business environment
  • Fluent in English, French, and Dutch, both written and spoken; German language skills are considered a strong advantage
  • High willingness to travel throughout Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands
  • Team oriented person
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently within a geographically dispersed sales territory

Additional Information

The preferred location for this position is Belgium and the French border to Belgium. Candidates residing in the German border region of Belgium are also encouraged to apply.

The selected candidate should be able to travel regularly throughout Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands and maintain close proximity to the assigned sales territory.
