Join our team as a System Analyst and immerse yourself in the world of cutting-edge web-based NEC Housing Management products. Work closely with a dynamic and talented team, contributing to the development, support, and maintenance of our leading applications in the Local Government and Housing Sector. This role can be home based - though there will be travel to our sites as per requirements - for example when there are workshops to lead. 

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within an Agile development team, alongside Analysts, Developers, and Testers, driving the software application suite's SDLC to meet customer expectations.
• Undertake software analysis and design of complex, new requirements, unleashing your creativity.
• Contribute to the development of the NEC Housing Management product suite, pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
• Developing expertise and ownership in the functionality across a range of NEC Housing modules

You must have demonstrable experience of analysis and development working in Oracle environments.

Essential:

• Demonstrable experience of working on the analysis and design of large, complex enterprise scale product applications in Oracle environments (including the analysis and design required to build and enhance user interface screens, processes and APIs).
• Ability to elicit requirements from stakeholders through remote or in-person workshops where you will take the lead.
• Ability to devise functional solutions to complex business problems.
• Expertise in modelling business data requirements, starting with the creation of Entity/Relationship Diagrams at the business level and taking these through to physical Database Design.
• Experience in writing User Stories, creating User Journeys, or process mapping.
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL Plus and Oracle PL/SQL (or similar database technologies).

Desirable:

• Understanding of Agile methods and tools.
• Experience with Oracle Apex.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Oracle SQL Developer and TOAD.
• Familiarity with PVCS, SOAP/XML, and/or, REST APIs.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK. Documentary evidence will be required.
