Role Summary:

Primary responsibility is to ensure efficient, effective and economic testing of a
various software projects using appropriate strategies and techniques. To
work as part of the test team, integrating closely with the development groups
to understand the product set.

Qualification Criteria/Work Experience
Essential: ● ISEB/ISTQB qualified or equivalent in software testing advantageous
● Should be well-versed about Agile Methodologies and terminologies.
● Sound understanding and experience of software development and
testing lifecycle
● Good analytical skill, attention to detail and documentation of testing
and results
● Experience on Selenium Automation tool.
● Experience of Test Management and Defect Tracking tools
● Experience of SQL Server 2005 & 2008 advantageous
● Switching between Manual and Automation as per need
● Ability to work proactively on own, managing workload and time
when required
● Ability to work well in a team
● Ability to communicate both technical and non-technical information
● Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
● Ability to interpret and understand complex requirements and produce
test cases to cover all scenarios
● Understand impact/risk analysis and ensure that testing activities
reflect this

Job Description/Request for Resource

Overall Project/Task description

●        Use Automation tool for testing web based applications

●        Use structured Manual testing methods to prepare, execute test cases and record the results in TFS

●        Provide Estimates on time required for preparing test cases and testing the functionality.

●        Ability to understand, review and comment on project requirements – e.g. User Stories

●        Highlighting real time Risks, Issues and Escalation to the manager.

●        Keep track of the new requirements / change in requirements of the Project.

●        Should able to work on any Automation tool

●        Should be closely working with onshore team and development team to understand and test the functionality
