Job Description

NCS Australia is seeking a ServiceNow HRSD Senior Consultants to join a high-performing team supporting a major government client.

 

As a Senior Consultant, you will play a critical role in the ongoing management, enhancement, and security of the client’s People Connect HR system, built on the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) platform. You will be responsible for implementing business improvements, managing incidents, applying security patches, and supporting annual platform upgrades. A key part of the role involves identifying opportunities to leverage new functionality introduced in ServiceNow releases and ensuring alignment with cybersecurity requirements, particularly in response to penetration testing outcomes.

 

This is a hands-on technical role that also requires strong collaboration and communication skills. You will be expected to provide knowledge transfer to internal support teams, enabling them to maintain and enhance the platform independently in the future. Experience in business test automation and performance analytics is essential, along with a working knowledge of HRSD Professional licensing features such as Now Assist, Manager Hub, Virtual Agent, and Predictive Intelligence.

Qualifications

  • Extensive technical expertise in ServiceNow development, particularly in Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), Analytics and Reporting, and Security Operations.
  • Strong experience in managing and maintaining ServiceNow HRSD, including:
    • Implementing business improvements and backlog changes.
    • Incident management and resolution.
    • Applying regular security patches and updates.
  • Proven ability to implement cybersecurity requirements, especially in response to penetration testing outcomes.
  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow annual upgrades, with the ability to analyse and implement new features and functionality.
  • Experience in business test automation, including creation and maintenance of automated test scripts.
  • Working knowledge of Performance Analytics within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Familiarity with HRSD Professional licensing features, such as:
    • Now Assist for HRSD
    • Manager Hub
    • Virtual Agent
    • Predictive Intelligence
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments, contributing to iterative development and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with DevOps or TFS-based collaborative development tools.
  • Strong documentation skills, including the development of functional and technical documentation.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement abilities, with experience delivering demonstrations, workshops, and technical advice to non-technical audiences.
  • Commitment to knowledge transfer, with the ability to upskill internal support teams and embed best practices for long-term sustainability.
