Job Description
NBCUniversal’s Enterprise Business Solutions Team builds products that provide essential capabilities to organizations throughout NBCUniversal. The team leverages deep relationships with our engineering counterparts to build cohesive, end-to-end solutions for their clients or users.
As part of the Enterprise Business Solutions Workplace team, the Business Systems Analysis Manager partners with Corporate Communications and technology stakeholders to deliver and enhance enterprise communications and employee engagement solutions. This role supports the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of technologies including intranet and internet platforms, content management systems, email marketing and campaign management tools, event management solutions, and employee communications technologies. The role serves as a subject matter expert, translating business needs into scalable technology solutions, leading complex initiatives, and collaborating with business, engineering, and vendor partners throughout the product lifecycle. Leveraging strong analytical, product management, and project delivery skills, the Business Systems Analysis Manager drives continuous improvement, provides technical guidance, supports solution and design decisions, and ensures platforms effectively meet business objectives while delivering a reliable and engaging user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Corporate Communications technology platforms, including intranet and internet solutions, content management systems (CMS), email marketing and campaign management platforms, event management technologies, employee engagement tools, and related communications technologies.
- Lead the analysis of complex business needs, processes, data, and systems to define solution strategies that improve efficiency, reliability, and business outcomes
- Break down ambiguous, multi-variable problems; evaluate alternatives, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs; and recommend practical, data-informed solutions
- Define product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and success measures for key Workplace technology products and services
- Partner with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and enterprise architects to translate strategic needs into scalable technical solutions and inform solution and architectural decisions
- Translate complex requirements into actionable deliverables, including process models, user stories, technical and functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans
- Lead and prioritize product backlogs based on business value, technical feasibility, risk, dependencies, and stakeholder priorities
- Lead planning, design, review, and decision-making sessions across product, engineering, operations, and business teams to drive alignment and successful execution
- Provide technical guidance and oversight throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring requirements, design decisions, integrations, data sources, and controls are clearly understood and validated
- Oversee project scope, resources, risks, budgets, proposals, and statements of work; direct third-party solution providers to ensure deliverables meet business and technical expectations
- Lead stakeholder engagement for testing, demonstrations, deployment, and operational readiness, resolving complex issues and escalating material risks as needed
- Communicate recommendations, decisions, progress, risks, and changes to technical and non-technical stakeholders, adapting style and using influence to build alignment across the wider business
- Define release scope and governance, ensuring product features, enhancements, dependencies, support requirements, and implementation decisions are documented and communicated
- Serve as an escalation point and trusted advisor for complex platform, process, integration, data, and support matters
- Mentor and coach junior team members, strengthen standards and reusable methods, and promote consistent delivery practices across the team
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, data and analytics, computer science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience supporting Corporate Communications, Internal Communications, Employee Experience, Digital Workplace, or Marketing Technology solutions, including intranet and internet platforms, content management systems, email marketing and campaign automation tools, event management platforms, employee engagement solutions, and digital asset management technologies.
- 5+ years of product or project management experience, gathering client requirements, writing product and/or technical specifications, working with development teams, and managing product roadmaps and deliverables
- 5+ years of direct stakeholder engagement experience
- Experience working with cross-functional development and engineering teams and third-party vendors on vendor analysis discovery, product development, implementation, and support
- Experience with Agile methodology, with a focus on scoping, iteration planning, user story and acceptance criteria writing, and rollout management
- Experience using Jira or a similar system to track and maintain feature requirements and development progress
- Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timelines, budget and quality standards are met
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced visualization skills with the ability to tell a compelling story with data
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint

Additional Requirements:
- Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
