Job Description

Correspondent/Producer, Creative Content is a multimedia producer and correspondent/host position responsible for creating daily content across all platforms including social, digital, and linear. As part of the Original Content team, they will be tasked with producing engaging multi-platform content, planning and executing all aspects of both short and long form productions, and serving as an on-camera correspondent/host. They must have extensive knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Dalet, as well as be able to fully line produce live or taped programming. This person must be able to see projects from concept to delivery. The ability to create high end content quickly is a must while also maintaining efficiency and accuracy.  
  

Responsibilities: 

  • Ideate and create high-end content across all platforms from start to finish as requested by internal clients 
  • Assist Management with cross departmental integrations   
  • Pitch creative concepts to stretch the bounds of the group's output.  
  • Actively participate in daily content meetings and tailor content based on department goals  
  • Work closely with other departments and leaders to develop ongoing content creation and build cross departmental collaboration.  
  • Maintain close interdepartmental relationships to ensure consistent understanding and execution of long-term business objectives.  
  • Work with the creative department to develop and retain consistent style and branding with respect to original content.  
  • Flexible scheduling based on content needs. Some local and national travel.  
  • Display comfort in forward-facing interactions with subjects, clients, community partners, and any internal or external person attached to a given project  
  • Execute strong editorial judgement and standards skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
  • Minimum 5 years of producing and on-camera experience  
  • 5 years editing experience of Adobe Premier, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator or related editing software  

Desired Characteristics: 

  • Ability to shoot, edit, and create engaging content   
  • Ability to work on-camera, as well as produce in the field or in the studio.  
  • An eye for capturing still and video imagery in a modern aesthetic and technical style  
  • Ability to fully line produce live and pre-produced programming   
  • Ability to write and edit copy that appeals to the target audience.  
  • Prior experience producing in a multiplatform content environment   
  • Experience producing for digital/social platforms.  
  • Knowledge and evolving awareness of current social media trends and metrics and how to produce on those platforms.  
  • Team-first mindset mixed with the ability to be self-motivated, detail-oriented, work independently, and perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.   
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with outside entities- including branded content for clients.   
  • Ability to manage time and resources related to each project and produce content quickly and accurately. 
  • Ability to produce both long and short form content from concept to delivery
