Job Description
What You’ll be Doing
You’ll be part of the team that helps bring our enterprise-wide talent development strategy and learning and development experiences at NBCUniversal’s corporate university, the Talent Lab, to life.
This role will serve as an ambassador of the Talent Lab, working to ensure that the event space and office runs smoothly and guests and employees receive a first-class experience. In addition, this role will support the alignment of talent that are new to the company.
Because this role supports live experiences, the schedule will occasionally require early mornings and later evenings for select experiences and events. Flexibility is important, as hours may shift on those days to support set-up, delivery, and wrap-up.
At the core of this role, you will:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the LA Talent Lab Space in Universal City, keeping the space organized, stocked and ready to support Talent Lab experiences
- Support multiple Talent Lab experiences through project planning, experience coordination, participant communications and live event support
- Coordinate, organize and produce virtual learning labs while supporting the needs of our facilitators and talent
Here’s what that will look like for you…
- Manage operational logistics for Talent Development experiences, including space readiness, materials handling, and coordination with facilities, AV, catering and other vendors
- Drive project plans and creatively design events utilizing the backdrop of one of the biggest film studios on the Universal Lot
- Create materials for our experiences that are energizing, stimulating, and inspiring – including presentations, participant tools, exercises/activities, and digital solutions
- Support and optimize processes including our regularly reoccurring new hire orientation experience, START
- Run our space and experience budget ensuring accurate and timely tracking
- Support data and systems work tied to Talent Development experiences, including working in the LMS, pulling talent lists, tracking completion data, running reports, and ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in Excel and other tools
- Grow into facilitating virtual and in-person experiences for select Talent Lab experiences – primarily START, but also supporting other experiences as needed

Qualifications
What You'll Have (Basic Requirements):
We’re a lean team that moves quickly, so to jump on in, we’ll expect that you have:
- a bachelor’s degree
- 1+ years of experience in talent management, learning and development, human resources and/or talent acquisition
- project management experience, juggling multiple tasks and deliverable simultaneously
- proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Bonus Points (Desired Characteristics):
You’ve worked in media/entertainment/tech, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and have:
- previous experience in event and/or office management
- experience as a facilitator in virtually and/or in-person environments
- experience with graphic design and publishing tools like InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
