Job Description
Please note this is a temporary role
Receives work orders from the Assignment Desk and ensures that all requirements are met. Maintains communication with the producer or correspondent in charge to propose the best visual options for the content.
Once the assignment is confirmed, the employee must pick up the equipment from the company offices and is responsible for it throughout the entire workday, ensuring its proper care. At the end of the assignment, the equipment must be returned to the company offices, and any incidents identified during the service must be reported.
Meets the following minimum criteria for content recording:
- Proper lighting for each situation (indoor, outdoor, day, night, etc.)
- Shot selection to ensure accurate visual storytelling
- Capture of necessary visual elements to properly describe the content
- Performs live transmissions in studio or in the field
- Operation of LiveU
Meets the following minimum criteria for content editing:
- Media download procedures (LATAKOO, Media Shuttle)
- Media ingestion procedures (own or third-party content)
- Coordinates with the correspondent or responsible producer for efficient content editing
- Once editing is completed, must confirm that the edited package has been received by the responsible local producer or, if required, confirm receipt with the corresponding personnel at Telemundo Center
At the end of assignments, must report daily activities on the designated platform.
Must submit expense reports on the corresponding platform in a timely manner.
Responsible for complying with company policies, trainings, meetings, and communications related to compliance, legal, finance, human resources, and other areas.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience handling professional video equipment (studio cameras, ENG, photography)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in advanced editing (AVID, ADOBE)
- Knowledge of Media Shuttle and Latakoo platforms
- Knowledge of different video, audio, and photography formats
- Knowledge of professional video and audio technical parameters
- English proficiency for proper handling of required equipment and systems
- Schedule flexibility
- Availability to travel
